How do I turn the pen on/off?

Press and hold the yellow power button to turn the Sprechbild Hörstift on or off. After successfully turning it on, you will hear the phrase ‘Welcome to Sprechbild.’ Upon turning it off, you will hear the phrase ‘Goodbye.’

 

How do I use the Sprechbild Hörstift?

Turn on the Sprechbild Hörstift and then tap on the card. After tapping, the Sprechbild Hörstift will play an audio message. Tapping the card again will replay the message. It doesn’t matter where on the card you tap.

 

Is it normal for the Sprechbild Hörstift to blink blue?

Yes, that is normal and indicates that the Hörstift is turned on.

 

How do I increase the volume?

“Press the button marked with ‘+’

 

How do I decrease the volume?

Press the button marked with ‘-’

 

Do I need to change batteries in the Sprechbild Hörstift?

No, the Sprechbild Hörstift has a built-in battery. It is charged using the included USB cable.

 

How is the Sprechbild Hörstift charged?

The Sprechbild Hörstift is charged using the included USB-C cable. You will also need a charger, which you need to provide.

 

Can I use headphones?

The Sprechbild Hörstift has a 3.5mm jack. You can use headphones with a 3.5mm plug with the Hörstift. Headphones are not included or available from our site.

 

Can I print the therapy cards myself?

This is not possible due to the special manufacturing process.

 

Is the Sprechbild Hörstift waterproof?

No, the Sprechbild Hörstift is not waterproof. Please keep the Hörstift away from liquids.

 

Can I laminate the cards?

Please do not laminate the cards. Laminating them significantly reduces the Hörstift’s ability to reliably recognize the cards.

No, as this is a product specifically made for you, these cards are excluded from returns.

No, we currently sell Sprechbild products exclusively online.
